Terms of Service
Last updated:
1. Acceptance
By creating an account on Avelto or accessing the platform via an invitation from your employer, you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Avelto provides an AI roleplay training and certification platform. Authorized users may run roleplay conversations against AI personas, receive AI-generated scores against configurable rubrics, and obtain certifications based on a manager-approved gate.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not upload protected health information (PHI). The platform is not a HIPAA-covered service.
- Do not attempt to extract, prompt-inject, or jailbreak the AI personas.
- Do not impersonate other users or share your account credentials.
- Do not upload material that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.
- Do not use the service to make automated, untriaged employment decisions; certification is gated by a human approval click.
4. AI-output disclaimer
AI-generated content (persona replies, scores, summaries) may be incomplete, inaccurate, or biased. Scores are advisory inputs to a manager-controlled certification gate, not final employment decisions. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it.
5. Customer data
Your employer owns and controls the customer data on the platform. Avelto processes that data on your employer's behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, model-provider outages, and force- majeure events may degrade or interrupt the service.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avelto's aggregate liability arising from or related to the service is limited to the fees paid by your organization in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
8. Termination
You or your employer may terminate access at any time. We may suspend access for material breach of these terms, with notice where reasonable.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of TBD. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of TBD, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence.
